History of the SONS OF THUNDER Motorcycle Club
Do you know who the Sons of Thunder were in the bible? The origins of Sons of Thunder came from when Jesus was gathering the first 12 disciples. There were two bothers James and John who were your rough looking fisherman. Jesus looked at the brothers and called to them saying “James son of Zebedee and your brother John I give to you the name Boanerges. Which stands for Sons of Thunder. (Mark 3.17)
This name referenced their fiercely loyal personalities and how they were outspoken against those that opposed Christ and his message. They were the disciples that were a bit rougher around the edges and wanted to reign down fire from the heavens to destroy those that opposed Jesus and his message.
The Sons of Thunder Motorcycle Club started in 2021. We have 4 charters across two states, Alaska and Washington. The Sons of Thunder formed from a previous Motorcycle Club. We are a three piece patch Motorcycle Club that has Christian Men in it. We are a Motorcycle Club that truly believe that Jesus is the Lord and Savior. That Jesus died for our sins. Now, does this take away from the core of being in a Motorcycle Club, not at all. We are all believers in Jesus Christ, but we appreciate and respect the MC lifestyle! We are a 3 piece patch club with the skulls and cross that represent the Sons of Thunder.
The Sons of Thunder MC is group of brothers whose primary interest and activities involve motorcycles and our Christian walk with Christ. We are a motorcycle club that members love to ride and love their brotherhood. Our club has its own by-laws, rules, and requirements just like any MC. We hold our members to a high standard of those by-laws and also to be accountable as Christian men.
